Aside
from being one of the most unique and elegantly designed hotels
in Florence, the Borghese Palace Art Hotel enjoys one of the
most enviable locations in the city. This 13th century former
noble residence is right in the heart of downtown historical
Firenze in the cluster of medieval streets that run from Piazza
del Duomo down to Ponte Vecchio.
Just next to the Bargello Museum, this modern Florence 4
star is literally on the doorstep to all of the city’s
most enigmatic delights. In fact, the awesome shape of Brunelleschi’s
Duomo itself is a prominent part of the skyline visible from
our romantic Rooftop Terrace.
The terrace also looks out across the River Arno onto the
famous Piazza Michelangelo on the south side. This gives you
some idea of how central this charming Florence accommodation
is to the Duomo and other famous sites in this tiny but historic
city. By clicking on the interactive map of Florence below
you can see all, plus a satellite photo option too!

How to reach the Hotel
By Air
To organise an airport transfer when booking, click here.
Public transport links the airport, which is only 5km out
of town, with Santa Maria Novella station. From here a taxi
should cost no more than about €15 or if you prefer,
it’s about a 15 minute walk:
Go from the station down Via Panzani and continue onto Via
de’Cerretani until you reach the Duomo (that’s
that big building with the orange-coloured dome). Passing
the Duomo, turn right down Via del Proconsolo and turn left
onto Via Ghibellina. Borghese Art Hotel is at number 174R.
